National Licorice Day

Annually, on April 12th, we kick off an extensive campaign featuring Red Vines candy and our brand message of peace, love, and vines. In 2023, we set ambitious goals, including three giveaways in anticipation of National Licorice Day and numerous marketing promotions.

Lights Camera Action

We invited our supporters to showcase their creativity by crafting personalized Red Vines videos. This competition, shared across our website, Facebook, and Instagram, resulted in over 300,000 shares and received approximately 100 video entries.

Super Ropes

We invited our fans to share cherished memories related to the beloved Super Ropes candy. This initiative garnered more than 13,000 distinct entries and generated valuable email leads..

Movie Trivia

When contemplating the movie, Red Vines naturally come to mind. The concept behind this exciting giveaway was to assess our fans' knowledge. I crafted an entertaining trivia game to collect emails and enhance engagement. This specific giveaway amassed more than 6,000 distinctive entries.

Every year, on July 18th, we organize a campaign highlighting Sour Punch and our brand messaging. In 2023, we devised a series of events designed to guide users/customers towards the ultimate prize. Imagine it as an online treasure hunt experience.

Sour Punch

National Sour Candy Day holds significant importance for our Sour Punch brand, and each year, we aim to generate excitement around it. In 2023, we embraced innovative tools such as ShortStack and text messaging services to enhance our approach. The objective was to assess the acquisition of new leads through these platforms.

To kick off the campaign, we implemented an automated email system upon sign-up, guiding participants through four steps to obtain a secret code. This code, entered at the final stage, served as an entry to the contest, resembling a digital scavenger hunt. The enticing prize included a custom Sour Punch Ice Cream Maker and a bag of our NEW Ice Cream flavored twists. This strategic initiative resulted in an impressive outcome, with over 13,000 new entries and the acquisition of emails and phone numbers.

Sour Punch Snowboard Giveaway

This was a relatively straightforward campaign conducted throughout January. In conjunction with this initiative, we collaborated with several resorts, distributing candy and tents for park events.

This was a relatively straightforward campaign conducted throughout January. We crafted designs for six snowboards, with three created by my co-worker and the remaining three by myself. In conjunction with this initiative, we collaborated with several resorts, distributing candy and tents for park events. The giveaway featured a custom snowboard for ten fortunate winners and resulted in over 400,000 impressions. 

(The designs I created are board groupings 1, 3, and 5, showcasing both the top and bottom of the board.)

Skate into Summer

Skate into Summer" constituted a marketing campaign centered on our Red Vines brand and its core message of "peace, love, and vines." What could be a more fitting celebration of summer than with a personalized Red Vines skateboard?

Red Vines

We executed this campaign on all our social platforms, offering a prize pack featuring a specially designed skateboard, a mini fingerboard, and custom stickers. To enhance the campaign, we collaborated with Bucky Lasek through Cameo® to create engaging content. Participants were encouraged to share their favorite summer activity for a chance to win. The response was impressive, with approximately 30,000 entries and over one million impressions.

Pride Skateboards

Following the success of our Skate into Summer campaign, we were inspired to launch a Pride Skateboard campaign. I created five custom skateboards centered around the LGBTQ+ community, and our Red Vines message of "Peace, love, and Vines." Our aim is to celebrate the individuality of all our fans and show our support.
